Number Rental Troubleshooting Guide
Use a safe sequence to troubleshoot a pending rental, missing number, delayed SMS, early interruption, expiry, or unexpected account entry.
Begin with the rental detail
Open the MangoOTP rental detail and record the order number, displayed stage, service, country, duration, price, creation time, start time if available, and end time if available. This page is the source of truth. Do not troubleshoot by comparing only a catalogue screenshot or the current account balance.
Refresh the detail once. Avoid repeated purchase, refresh, or action clicks while the result is changing. A stable order number lets you distinguish a delayed screen update from a separate rental.
The rental is waiting to be prepared
A newly submitted rental can remain waiting while its number is prepared. During this stage, the purchase amount is reserved and the number is not yet available. Do not expect SMS before a number and active period are shown.
If preparation does not complete within the allowed period, the order can fail and the reserved amount is returned according to the recorded result. Check the account history for a separate release or refund entry instead of looking only at total balance.
The page is preparing the number
When preparation has started but the result is not yet confirmed, do not submit another purchase for the same need. A network interruption can delay confirmation without proving success or failure. Keep the order number and wait for an updated result.
If the stage does not change after a reasonable time, contact support. Do not guess a refund or ask for a manual balance change before the rental result is verified.
The rental is active but no SMS arrives
Confirm that the target application accepted the exact number and indicates that a message was sent. Check the country code, service, active start and end times, and the latest message timestamp. Wait for one normal update interval and refresh the detail once.
Do not request many codes in quick succession. The target application may rate-limit the account or send several codes that are easy to confuse. A missing message can also come from an unsupported country, an incorrect service, or an application restriction rather than the rental page itself.
The rental stopped before expiry
Compare the last active time with the recorded end time. An interruption before the end is different from normal expiry and requires authorized review. Save the order number, service, country, start and end times, last message time, and a redacted screenshot.
MangoOTP does not provide user-initiated cancellation after a rental starts. Do not create several replacement rentals or estimate the refundable amount. Support will review the confirmed lifecycle; any applicable refund appears as a separate account transaction.
The rental expired normally
At the end time, the rental stops receiving new messages for the account. Normal expiry is completion of the purchased period and does not produce a refund. Authorized history already recorded remains available, but a new rental does not guarantee the same number.
If a later message was expected, review whether the chosen 7-day or 30-day period covered the actual requirement. For future use, allow extra time before the last required verification.
Check the account history
Match the rental order number and price to its account transaction. If the order failed before activation, look for the corresponding release or refund. If an early interruption was reviewed, compare the separate refund entry with the final decision. Do not classify unrelated deposits or adjustments as rental refunds.
Contact support with the order number, stage, time, service, country, price, expected action, and redacted evidence. Never share a password, complete verification code, authentication secret, access token, or API key. More help is available in the MangoOTP Help Center.
